good change, as having to register was just the thing that keeps me from commenting. Nothing I had to say seemed to be worth the tiny bit of hassle.

Also thanks for adding links to the previous and next posts. It makes me reading of your blog about a million times easier.

I'm so glad you've made this easier 'cos I was dying to share my delight in Issue 12 of DMZ - a sort of 'Rough Guide' to the places and people of the Zone. The way pictures and text support each other is superlative. I don't recall ever seeing anything quite like this before. Does anybody else? A terrific end to the first year of a brilliant series.

Also like to plug the late and lamented 'Fourth Rail' who put me onto DMZ (and lots of other good stuff) in the first place. But Comic Pants looks like a great replacement, so I guess any hopes that I could start saving money have gone...

WEB OF ROMANCE was indeed really good, and recommended reading for those who dig both TSSTG and Spider-Man. Probably my favorite of Marvel's romance-related one shots.

Pussy.

BWAH-HAHAHAHAHAHAAAaaaa... sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Randy can tell you, even though I write one of the girliest books on the market... it's a girlie book written by one of the most sailor-mouthed guys in the biz.

Funny story. When we go to conventions, Lily and I are almost ALWAYS approached by one or more men who've collected the series because their girlfriend/wife/significant other loved it also. It's definitely a couples book. But then they'll pause and say, "We broke up... and... she took the books."

At that point, we'll offer what we now call the Breakup Special, which is 50% off the collection. We feel sorry for the poor guys, but damned if it isn't impressive that the other person took the TSSTG books with them on the way out the door.

Anyhoo.. thanks for taking a chance with it and if you liked them, go give WEB OF ROMANCE a shot. That was my Spidey book and the readers seemed to dig it pretty good.

Thanks for the positive feedback Tom.

I used to chide Randy pretty relentlessly for liking that girly book, True Story Swear to God, but when I read it to prove that I was right to make fun of Randy, I was solidly put in my place. It's a great book, and I was completely wrong to label it as a book for girls.

It is incredibly genuine, and it there is usually some freakish level of similarity between the story and my relationship with my wife. I can't wait for issue three.

Hey Seba!

I really enjoy the site, love the podcast. I have to admit, the closing of the Fourth Rail broke my heart, but this site IS pretty awesome and there are more reviewers doing the work. It's an oasis.
