Wizard World Texas: We’ll be there with pants on!

toddler_captain_america_cos.jpgThree of the Comic Pants crew (Dan Grendell, David Martindale and Nick Budd) will be attending the Wizard World Texas in Dallas this Saturday. The other two members of the Panteon (Randy Lander and Dave Farabee, natch) will be there on Sunday. We’ll just be cruising around, talking to people, checking out the sights… nothing earth-shattering. We’d love to meet any of our fans in attendance, maybe even go out and grab lunch, so if you’re going to be at the show, drop us an email or just make sure and say hi if you’re there!

  3. I consider myself a fan, but I’ll be in Georgia (the state, not the province) all next week for Thanksgiving. Le sigh.

Best of luck! Hope you guys have lots of fun!

I dunno about Randy or Dave, but Nick, D3 and I will all be sporting awesome new Comic Pants shirts. Also, we will be glowing with the brightness that only the truly righteous achieve. And we will be wearing nametags.

That always helps ;)I wouldn’t object to seeing a pic of the Comic Pants team sometime, curious to see if my visualisation of the voices is anywhere near what you guys actually look like (Skrull features and/or aura of righteousness notwithstanding)

  7. Jef,

If you look at the About Comic Pants section, you’ll get the general idea of what we look like…Well, comic versions of ourselves, but they’re pretty darn close if you ask me.

Although Dave is not so much a Scott Morse craggy-faced eskimo guy and I’m not really the Man-Thing. Randy is, however, actually a zombie.

Okay, I really can’t deny that one so much.

Don’t you remember the time I was eating that one guy’s brains during the podcast?

Randy, that was just a soggy fajita from Taco Cabana. Yes, we all considered it a big step forward for a zombie to eat cooked meat, but it was just a fajita.

Dave, don’t you know what’s in Taco Cabana’s fajitas? He was eating a guy’s brain, all right.

Randy’s hatred of hobos should have tipped people off to the fact the he’s a zombie. Zombies and hobos are natural enemies like Pirates and Ninjas.
