Rumble Pants X: Championship
What is Rumble Pants? Well, the Panteon has decided to play at god once more. We take a few select comic characters and pit them against one another for our amusement, but we figured why keep the fun all to ourselves? So we decided on a format that would require your participation and will hopefully provide amusement for you at the same time. The format is a single elimination tournament with weekly rounds decided by you, the reader. Just keep reading to help decide the ultimate fate of some of your favorite comic characters!
It’s the championship round of the Indie Round, and after a close battle in the final four, two contenders pushed forward: Mike Allred’s quirky superhero Madman and Ben Edlund’s quirky superhero The Tick. Now it’s time for them to battle it out for the championship!
As always, though, it isn’t just about who would be most likely win in each fight; it’s about who you want to win each fight and advance to the next round. Click the bracket thumbnail above to the side to see how the tournament has progressed so far. These polls will close just after midnight on Sunday, January 13th.

I figured The Tick would beat the bones since he has the power of an animated and live action series behind him and I doubt most of the people who voted for him have actually read the comics but when I voted, Tara had a nice lead going on Frank. I was surprised to see she lost.

Rumble Pants was a casualty of not enough time. D3 was running it, but he had a baby and started developing a photography side career and had been derailed a bit from it even before then.
I took it over, but increasingly, having two kids and a store and some semblance of a life is killing my free time as well.
*However*….
Rumble Pants will return. I’m finalizing match-ups now and will endeavor to have the newest round up this week or Sunday at the latest.
