Rumble Pants XI: Championship
By popular demand, Rumble Pants is back! What is Rumble Pants? Well, the Panteon has decided to play at god once more. We take a few select comic characters and pit them against one another for our amusement, but we figured why keep the fun all to ourselves? So we decided on a format that would require your participation and will hopefully provide amusement for you at the same time. The format is a single elimination tournament with weekly rounds decided by you, the reader. Just keep reading to help decide the ultimate fate of some of your favorite comic characters!
The couples fight is down to the final round. Who will win? The mutant romance of Colossus and Kitty Pryde? Or the starcrossed good guy/bad girl romance of Batman and Catwoman? Well, that’s up to you, the reader!
Because as always, it isn’t just about who would be most likely win in each fight; it’s about who you want to win each fight and advance to the next round. Went with Colossus and Kitty. Batman could probably beat the 2 of them on his own if he knew their powers and weaknesses beforehand (isn’t that how every “Batman vs” argument goes?) but since this is a couples battle and I don’t see what Catwoman could do against either of them, you gotta favor the X-men. Reed and Sue would dominate both though :p

This one was hard- Catwoman, depending on who’s writing her, could be devious enough to get around Colossus. Kitty would be another matter, though, I think. Bats could take Kitty down, but it would be a fascinating fight.
On the other hand, Catwoman and Batman don’t make a good couple except when they’re in the process of actually getting together IMO, so I voted for Kitty and Peter- just because I like them better as a couple, even if I think in a real fight the other two would win.

Kitty & Colossus never really did it for me. I always liked the dynamic of Batman & Catwoman better. Also, if you had to double with one of the couples, Bruce Wayne & Selina Kyle would be the better one. Bruce would probably pick up the tab for the whole party.
